July 9 is No Bra Day

Try as we might to verify its authenticity, no official word were given about this. So, it could easily have started from the days of our bra-burning foremother or even the guy next door who wanted to play troll.

If we are to be honest, bras can sometimes be really uncomfortable. What, with the underwire, hooks and straps eating their way into our flesh? So, perhaps, going braless can have its pros too?

Now, should you think of showing your support for no support, sorry for the pun, here are some pointers to help you shed your inhibition.

#1 No Unsightly Straps

Yes, half of the time ladies tend to wear ill-fitting bras and the result is unsightly bulges. Also, if you do lots of lifting throughout the day, the weight of the bra’s frame may transfer from the chest band to the shoulder straps, giving you aches.

#2 Easy-breezy Comfort

Bras that are a tad too tight till cutting off your circulation is bad. Lets hang loose, your girls will not have to endure sweaty cooped-up days. If you’re feeling conscious, get a nipple tape to help conceal the ‘attention mode’.

#3 Alleviate Pain & Skin Irritation

Sometimes the breasts can get a little tender and there are itchy spots all around your chest area. Your bra could be the culprit, let the skin breathe while you give your bras a good wash. In this instance, going braless is especially good for large breasted woman to relieve back pain.

#4 Promote Good Posture

Most of the time because of bras that are too big or tight, women tend to adopt bad posture when either walking or sitting. If you don’t want to go all the way, get a top with built-in bras to help realign your postures.

#5 Lower Risk of Cancer

There have been studies on the correlation between wearing bra and cysts/cancers. Wearing a bra can cause compression of the lymphatic system which could impair the drainage of toxins from the breast. So, once in a while, it’s good to let them twins roam free.
