Jackie Chan celebrated his 58th birthday on Saturday.
The kungfu star held a barbecue party at his Jackie Chan Studio in Hong Kong, celebrating the event with his wife Joan Lin, son Jaycee and dozens of friends.
Those who attended the party included Liu Chia-Chang, his wife Zhen Zhen and singer son Jeremy, Daniel Wu and wife Lisa S., Leo Ku, Terence Yin and Ko Chen-Tung.
Also present were Chan’s former manager Willie Chan Chi-keung, singer Hu Xia, directors Mabel Cheung Yuen-ting and Alex Law Kai-yui.
Jackie was presented with a birthday cake in the shape of an animated image of him, with the wishes "Happy Birthday Big Brother Jackie" written on it.
He later cut the cake with Joan.
The superstar showed up before the media crowd around 8pm, wearing shirt and jeans.
"I wish for world peace and harmony in everything for Hong Kong," he said, before returning to the studio, saying he was busy with the guests.
Jaycee said he would not be drinking at the father’s party as he had a cough.
"I will become the driver to send those who are drunk home," said the actor-singer, adding that he would give movie tickets of a film he acted in to his father as present.
But the film Double Trouble would only be showing in Taiwan and Beijing, China during the summer holidays.
"My dad has a plane, so I don't have to give him any air tickets," he joked.
Jackie also wrote on his weibo: "Saw the birthday wishes from so many friends, thank you everyone, I love you all.
"I will return your wishes with the best movies, wait for my Chinese Zodiac.
"I don't expect to receive hundred thousands of birthday wishes, I re-send these blessings to all mankind."
